Rainsford's Design Production Process
Stage 1 – Conceptual Design:
Conceptual Design is the initial stage of the design process where we conceive different solutions for client review. Producing hand drawn and sketched ideas - these can focus on exterior architectural design, as well as interior layouts and visuals of the various spaces being created.

Stage 2 – Plans and Layouts:
Following approval of a design direction and key design cues created from Stage 1, we will firm up the interior layouts and plans in stage 2 ensuring they meet Building Control and Planning regulations.

Stage 3 – Finishes and Materials:
Choosing the right finishes and materials to compliment the interior space is key to the look, feel and longevity of a project. We draw upon our comprehensive library of materials and rich diversity of suppliers to create unique schemes for each project we conceive.

Stage 4 - Details Design:
This stage involves designing the construction details and interior detailing for items such as joinery, bathrooms, ceilings, and flooring, including the integration of the chosen finishes and materials and the IT and AV requirements as well.

Stage 5 – Procurement (fixtures and fittings)
The final stage is the sourcing of all the fixtures and fittings, such as sanitaryware and lighting, flooring, and ironmongery that all add both practical and aesthetically pleasing solutions to your project.

Stage 6 – 3D Visuals
When all 5 stages are completed we can combine the design solutions into
key visualisations for each room so you get a photo real view rendering that
summarises the design intent.
